It's very sad to see that we've lost Steve Jobs. He truly has made an incredible impact on the lives of so many people. More so than any other person has in a long, long while.... I don't really even know if this figure could even be quanitified. But the statement is true. What with Apple of and Pixar, it's quite possible that this single person has had his influence spread throughout most all of the households...in the world. That's and amazing accomplishment. And a testament to the drive that was in him.

Below you'll see a commencement speech that Steve gave back in 2005. It really does expose alot of who he is. The fact that he lived to the standards of which he belived in is very, very admirable.

Here's to you Steve.

Well in short it's because NIKE is releasing what will possibly be 'THE' most sought after sneaker of all-time. The 2011 NIKE MAG or as most all of us know it; 'the Back to the Future shoe'.

With a limited run of about 150 pair available per day (from now until December 18th), these shoes are only available through auction on Ebay at the link below. And by clicking in to see, you'll find that the bidding battle is in full swing.

- NIKE MAG on Ebay -

But what's happening here is a collaboration between NIKE, MJ Fox and EBay to help raise money and support the research and treatment of Parkinsons Diesase, the disease that has taken hold of MJ Fox and many more worldwide.

Since his diagnosis MJ Fox has been doing everything in his power to learn more, treat himself and others afflicted with this disease. But he's also gone to great lengths to educate the public on what this disease is and how it can be defeated. With him stepping up to the plate 'through the aligment' to fight his cause is a positive note in our life and times. And ultimately a breath of fresh air.

It's obvious that these shoes will sell out and do so at very high prices. If I had the money to bid.... I would and continue to until I won the auction, that's just me being honest. The shoes were iconic the moment they were on the screen. Instatnly becoming the stuff of legend for our modern era. And now they exist and they do so by potential helping many people that need help. Not to mention the man that wore these shoes for us all those years ago. I think this is the best way to bring these shoes to life. Guess I'm excited to see how many other comapnies, celebrities or just creative minds can come up with ways to get people up and excited to do something as cool as this and for an equally good purpose. With all the BS out there right now, I would think that now's the time to.

Palladium Boots and Pharrell have put together a video series that takes us back into Japan months after the disaster. And they strike up the conversation of the effects of this disaster with local artists that use their varied forms of communication to illustrate the reality that they've found themselves in.

It's like a short sale on the wealth of everything around us everyday....

Turn on the news and see it.. The doom/gloom and exaggerated misfortune of our time here on this planet is getting ridiculous. It almost makes you ask why are we even going through the motions to 'succeed' in life...?

I don't believe in that train of thought and I don't think that anyone should. I do believe it's time to incite a movement to re-invigorate ourselves and put into action the power of who we are as a people. Scratch race and religion. We need to do the work neccessary to achieve what it is that we are capable of achieving...for the good of all of us; as a whole. Are you into that? If you're not; can I ask how can you not be?

Sure...this is a vast problem in the world today, but at first the solution can't and won't be a vast sweeping fix-all. It's going to take understanding, time, patience and dedication from everyone that wants to make a difference because those that don't understand, or have the time to, will make it extremely hard. Maybe at the start our movement can't be a deep rooted stance to stand up for what's right - or at least it can't be that way on the surface.... So how could we do this.... Maybe we need something incredibly simple... I think I got it.

Let's start the movement by removing Watermelon from the list of 'African-American Stereotypes'. Why? Because EVERYBODY LIKES WATERMELON... be realistic.

Our group of friends have bounced around the 'Summertime Theme Music' title so many times this year that it's been one of the best summers for the sport! Ha! Be it the music various we've heard while at a party, or at a concert, maybe while in an airport or even during our time in a different country. The summertime has a a way to make music stand out a little louder than any other time of the year.

Take for instance this morning. Simple enough of a start to the day;

wake up, sun's shining, walking around in the pajamas still, open the windows, mellow beach breeze says hello, turn on the computer, grab some fruit maybe some yogurt (whatever), eat it, open up your files on the computer, browse new music, find a song that you haven't heard before, play it..... and now I'm writing about it because it fits the theme almost entirely.

Here's the 24th Summertime Theme Music selection, it's a song I just found called 'Hold on' by a guy called Washed Out - Enjoy and love live the days of summer.
